Brisbane Fall Foliage: 3 Stunning Places To Visit This Autumn in Brisbane – with exact location pins

To say I love fall is an understatement. I am a basic fall betch who breaks out the sweaters and PSL the second May first rolls around. I have been hunting around Brisbane for the best fall leaves. Fall colours begin to appear late May and peak early June. You will see the bright yellow quaking Maples intermingled with vivid evergreen pines on the road sides. In this blog post I am going to share my secret spots I go visit every year to see the beautiful colours of Autumn in Brisbane.

Autumn in Brisbane? When does it start

The most colourful time of year is autumn when the trees turn every shade imaginable of yellow, orange and red. By calendar definition Autumn is March- June in Australia. Autumn leaves will begin to appear late May in the mountains such as Gold Coast Hinterlands, but Autumn leaves only start to appear in Brisbane in June.

1. Roma St Parkland

Strolling along Roma Street Parkland is always a lovely sight but it’s particularly fun when you’re rugged up and crunching through autumn leaves! Head in and around the ROCK status for an extra dash of autumn colour.

2. Park Ridge

There are a million leaves near Park Ridge Animal Hospital. The exact locations is here. Again, these are on the side of the road and safety is paramount when it comes to taking photos.

3. North Brisbane

There are beautiful Liquid Amber trees on the corner of Becketts Road and Albany Creek Rd at Bridgeman Downs; exact location is here. I wouldn’t say this is a good photo spot given how close it is to the traffic it’s not safe. But if you just want a quick snap this is a great place to stop by and admire the leaves.
