Alyssa and Kennedy dreamt of a romantic, golden hour engagement session in Brisbane. After much research of farms and villas in the region, they chose Shorncliffe Pier: a stunning port on the East Coast of Brisbane that offers breathtaking views. Working with Hikari Lifestyle Photography they kept the aesthetic very soft and romantic and relied on the surrounding natural beauty to do most of the work. Brisbane Engagement Photographer Hikari captured their beautiful celebration. Seeing this session gracing the pages of Australia’s largest wedding directory Polka Dot Weddings was one of the greatest achievements a photographer can accomplish.

The pair, whole dreamt of something “light and casual” for their engagement photos booked Hikari Lifestyle Photography to join them for a wander by Shorncliffe Pier, a beautiful Brisbane spot that was made, it seems for picnics and dancing at sunset.

Many people think of the beach, the water when it comes to Shorncliffe pier; adjacent to the pier there is a playground, a picnic area, a BBQ area where sunset rays filtered through the trees and reflect the golden light upon the couple.

I love capturing clients love stories just the way it is – in their element, spontaneous, more candid and less curated. The lovebirds turned this session into one of the most magical sessions I’ve photographed in my career.
