Summer is just around the corner, and there is no better place to spend the weekend than a free water park Brisbane! (Other than air-conditioned places) Here are 5 waterparks I frequently visit that you need to check out this summer!
One epic adventure and water park located in Flagstone. The water play area features water fountains and the playground offers mega slides, climbing towers, toddler playground, spinner, rockers and swings, making it one of the best free water parks in Brisbane!
The tree house theme water play area features water fountains and you can also go up to the tree house, which is fully enclosed, toddlers will need assistance as it can get quite slippery.
Parking: limited on-site but plenty of street parking
This park is perfect for toddlers and older kids with lifeguards on constant watch. Such a picturesque spot for families of all ages. There is a great playground right next to it, bars and restaurants surrounding the entire area.
Parking: paid parking underground or street parking (metered). Accessible by public transport
This park is suitable and ideal for babies and toddlers. There are plenty of shaded seatings and picnic tables around the park. There is also a playground next to it that’s suitable for all ages that offers swings, play shop, climbing nets, slides, spinner and bouncers.
Further down the park is a wading pool with a small water slide!
Parking: limited on-site parking but plenty of street parking.
This amazing park has so much to offer for all ages, there are 3 different sections which will keep the kids entertained for hours!
Water play section: There is a paddle pool area and a toddler pool with man made water stream.
Next to the water section there is a flying fox and climbing net.
Main Playgorund: this area is aimed fro the bigger kids with a large wooden fort style playground, a unique rock climbing sculpture and swings.
What I love about this park is all areas are well shaded by trees and shade sails. There is plenty of open grass areas to set up a picnic and shaded picnic tablets.
Parking: plenty of on-site free parking, toilets, BBQs on-site.
This family chose to have their yearly family portraits done in Rocks Riverside Park. The light is incredible in this park during sunset hours! Want to book a session here? You can reach out here!
With stepping stones, wading areas and water squirts, and a shallow depth of 300mm, the Lagoon is the perfect way to cool down for all ages. The Orion Lagoon is supervised daily by lifeguards during the opening hours, providing a safe and fun family day out near Brisbane
You can enjoy more than just swimming and water play at Orion Lagoon, with BBQ facilities, plenty of seating areas and tables, plus permanent umbrellas for shade. There are also all the facilities you need for a day out swimming, with public toilets and change rooms, as well as lockers to store your belongings while you enjoy the Lagoon. There are plenty of dining options alongside the Lagoon.
Have a wonderful, cool summer splashing in these free water parks around Brisbane!
